Well how lousy is this!!?? Investigators have found that a standard blowout preventer has a design flaw. Just like the one that was responsible for the BP oil spill and used on hundreds of other wells. Depite this, the Dept. of the Interior has begun issuing permits using these same faulty blowout preventers.....HOW AWESOME! I guess they are hoping the next accident will take care of what is left of the Gulf of Mexico and its' industry.
Also, as shown on the Rachel Maddow Show, the first new permit has been issued on documentation and plans drawn up from 2009??!! Funny, they have been assuring us that new regulations and guidelines would prevent there from being another horrible disaster like the BP spill. Such strict and new policy, whereas paperwork from 2009 will still be approved....sounds like a winner, winner, chicken dinner!
So companies will be able to use the same faulty equipment, same BS paperwork/plans....would it be a stretch to imagine nothing has changed?? Remember 11 workers died, and they are not going to fix the problem that caused it or any BS response plans that could jeopardize more lives. JAPAN DISASTER: NUCLEAR OCEAN: MARCH 26-27 UPDATE, JAPANESE RADIATION OUT OF CONTROL NEAR FUKUSHIMA IN AIR CURRENT AND SEA WATER, MISINFORMATION AND UNKNOWN DETAILS
As if we needed more bad news, Pacific Ocean water near the plant is up from 100 times normal radiation to 1,250.8 times normal. Simply horrible, will this mean fish with 4 eyes or two heads? Turtles with 2 shells or squid with 16 tentacles. They say pressures in the reactors haven't dropped, so they don't think the radiation is coming from the cores. There is doubt that this amount could be coming from the spent fuel pools though.
Judging by misinformation and the 3-4 day delay of information from officials, anything is possible. They really don't know what the pressures are inside of the fuel pods anyway. They are giving a best estimate, my best estimate is they are hoping for the best, but something else is happening. Like maybe the fuel in the #2 reactor, has burned through the bottom of the containment vessel and is seeping into the basement of the turbine building to #2. Even if they know this, and it is true, we won't know for 3-4 days.

Judging by the huge radiation increases in the turbine houses, now all of the sudden in the ocean too, something has melted down somewhere and will have to be sand-bagged and cemented by from the air. March 26-27, Current News: Earthquake Update report and Super Moon Power down to last hours
Well down to the last day of Super Moon power, and there is not any major widespread activity. Still bummed over the over-hyped March 19 Extreme Super Moon? I still feel California is possibly inline for a 4.0-5.0 earthquake, but time is running short now. Going against earlier statements, I don't believe it will be right on the San Andreas fault, but removed 30-50 miles. Daytime will be more likely at this point, 6am-6pm, Pacific time.

A BIT OF A PICKLE IN DEBATE OVER U.S. BUDGET: REPUBLICANS VS TEAPARTY--ICANS, FALSE HOPES AND DREAMS
Well now, things are becoming more heated in the major political parties of the U.S. The democrats are split over taking part in Libya, but the more interesting battle is in the republican party.
Teaparty advocates are heated that there has not been more of a cut in this years budget talks. Namely 100 billion dollars....and they really don't want the debt ceiling lifted. Two things, not raising the debt ceiling and cutting 100 billion dollars from the budget, will cut money to corporations that fund REPUBLICANS! Isn't this amusing....
How so do you ask? First of all, this is a compound problem. The House Republicans cutting everything that they could think of, that would not directly impact their families, only came up to 60 billion dollars. So for fun, say Senate Democrats went along with all the cuts, that still leaves 40 billion dollars. Medicare and Social Security are funded out of our paychecks, so that leaves Medicade and Defense cuts.....lol!
Cutting Medicade takes money out of Healthcare Corporations profit margins, cutting Defense spending will take away special pet projects from Defense Contractors across the country. How will the lobbyists working for these sectors handle the Teaparty crowd? There is no way on Gods' Green Earth that they will have their government money cut!

AIR TRAFFIC CONTROL AT REAGAN INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT: Should 2 controllers always be on duty?
It seems weird to me that there is only one air traffic controller at night for Reagan International Airport. I can see this at a regional airport, but at a major port? What if something happens to one, like a heart attack? Will the janitor find him in the morning? Seems it is necessary to have 2 or 3 pilots for every airplane, so why not at least 2 for a tower, at all times for major airports? This guy has been on the job for 20 years, give him a buddy! Well, in all the wisdom in the world, workers were sent into the basement of turbine house #3 with no boots on!!! Their radiation detectors went off and they ignored them!!! Two of the three have severe burns. How do they think the severe radiation levels got into turbine house #2? Water or steam of course, which is why they should have been prepared for this in #3. Now #3 is even more dangerous, because the water was radiated with uranium and plutonium! Highly toxic and if the workers recover it will be a miracle. They are saying that the fuel pod may have a breach in #3! Well guess what, if #3 does, #2 sure the heck does too!!! Please click an ad before leaving, many thanks!

At this point, any smoke or steam coming off cooling pools is getting highly radiated by the radiation from the reactor waste water, that is in the ocean or on the ground. The ocean around the site is at about 150 times normal! The EXTREMELY radiated seawater is evaporating into the air and being taken everywhere. Radiated produce shipments are showing up in Singapore, cows are getting heavy radiation doses from the feed and grass they eat, which gets into the most needed item, milk.

They were saying "people may be urged to move further from nuclear plant for convenience"...which is now "government officials are asking people within 20-30 km to leave voluntarily".... they should be evacuating! Japan Nuclear Facility March 24: Nitemare or Coming Under Control?
The current news for the troubled Japanese nuclear facility is ....Wednesday they were able to get the lighting working in the #1 control room, Tuesday they were able to get the lighting working in the #3 control room.
and....not alot more being said. Why would they not say something about the control room to #2, since this is the building that would be easiest to connect. March 24 ..... MOON POWER : End of " EXTREME "
Hey there moon power followers. It looks as though the "EXTREME" Super Moon power has subsided and we will have 4 more days of Super Moon power. This means the moon well still have increased effect on the Earth at night, but the erratic patterns in the electromagnetic field of Earth associated with the Extreme Super Moon have stopped. The sun has been minding its' manners well in this time of uncertainty, and as long as it does for 4 more days, we have overted disaster from the moon. The Japan disaster was possibly sun induced, as there was a medium solar storm affecting Earths' electromagnetic field the Thurday and Friday of the Japan quakes. The many battles in Libya, March 23: Why we should support the push for FREEDOM
Seems that nobody can agree with anything when it comes to Libya. I have been following closely the last few weeks, everything in Libya. I also know the history and why this dictator should go now. Before help arrived, there was a clear objective for the people of Libya and their campaign. It still is the same for them, as they have at least for the time, taken back two large cities from Qaddafi army forces.
The politics of the whole Libyan operation in this country and with other countries/organizations, trying to gain political position makes me so sick. Everywhere you turn, seems everyone is throwing out any roadblock or cause for concern they can come up with. Is there anyone that will look at all the facts, instead of just the ones that support their agenda.
Seems that everyone paid no attention at all for the weeks leading up to the defense of the Libyan people. Politicians act like they just arrived from a remote island with no link to the outside world. Seems as years go by, people with the knowledge of how to keep the balance in the world, is dwindling. The "it's all about me" syndrome is a cancer and will progress at a faster rate every year.
It has been reported that five children were killed in Misrata on Wednesday. This is why so many of Qaddafis' forces have quit and why thousands of rebels continue to give their lives to defend their cities. This is a much more worthy cause than the billions the U.S. is spending currently in Afghanistan to do what? Shoot at the Taliban and prop-up the corrupt government, which is why the Taliban is there in the first place! Iraq is already trying to overthrow the 500 billion dollar government that we installed there...the Libyan people are doing what Iraq and Afghanistan wouldn't do years ago. MARCH 23: "EXTREME" SUPER MOON MARCH 19 --- EFFECTS STILL FELT, QUAKE ON CHINA / KASHMIR BORDER, U.S. EARTHQUAKE UPDATE
If you thought the "EXTREME SUPER MOON" was all done with, think again. Although earthquake activity across the board is lower, we are still seeing quakes around the world set off by the moons' magnetic pull.
We can see some of this energy interacting with the Earths' electromagnetic field. It has actually been more evident since the "EXTREME" Super Moon, than before March 19. For just over three days, the magnetic field of North America has been erratic. Drastic at times, it has been most active early afternoon and early morning.
I have been posting that the most critical part of the effects on Earth would end in about 24 hrs. Due to the constant erratic pattern of the Earths' magnetic field and quakes still occuring, this pattern may continue for up to an additional 4 days.
About three hours previous to this post, there has been a 5.1 magnitude earthquake on the China - Kashmir border. This goes along with two others and a prediction that I have made possibly for Pakistan or Iran in a previous post.

Just a little while ago, going through some reports I found something! An IAEA senior official has stated that they don't know where recent spikes in radiation are coming from. In another report, it is stated that very high radiation levels were observed coming from the turbine house of reactor #2.
Where on earth do they think the radiation in turbine house #2 is coming from???? There has been previous speculation that the #2 reactor could possibly have a crack. Could this be evidence that the fuel pod has actually had a partial fuel container breach? It has been previously reported that an estimated 70% of the fuel rods have been damaged. I am going to go out on a limb and guess that it is possible that #2 has actually had a partial meltdown! It could be releasing lethal - toxic radiation through its' power generating BRW cooling loop, that includes the turbine house.
Is this highly lethal - toxic radiated water - steam escaping into the ocean??? Is this why the government has directed Tokyo Electric to begin tests on seawater around the nuclear facility???

Well now, how dangerous is radiation and how far has it spread? The levels of radiation in tap water, in Tokyo, is too high for babies to drink. Yeah, if it's too high for babies, it's too high for me too! Milk and produce from 2, possibly 4, regions of Japan are showing elevated levels of radiation. The US FDA is banning export of these to the US from the possible 4 regions. Japan is halting shipments from the 2 regions closest to the nuclear disaster.
Reports from Seattle, Washington to Iceland showing elevated radiation levels also. These levels are not a threat and pose no health risk at this time.

March 22 Japanese Nuclear Crisis- Earthquake Disaster
I have been reporting on the nuclear crisis in Japan for the last week. Taking all the reports and putting together the most accurate information for you. Now, in the U.S. the primary focus is underhanded politics as normal, involving the Libyan operation. My information sources are drying up and disappearing. MARCH 22 QUAKE UPDATE FOR NORTH AMERICA-CALIFORNIA AND SUPER MOON STATUS
Currently, earthquake activity has diminished across North America. There are just two areas, where series of quakes, are ongoing.
One is the Dominican Republic region, including Puerto Rico. A 5.4 earthquake occured between these two last Wednesday and they have been experiencing aftershocks, around 3.0, since then.
The other area is of course California. Constant normal activity is going on. If the "SUPER MOON" hasn't done something yet, we are running out of time. Following the activity around the world and the effect the moon has had, I am really surprised that there was not an additional couple of 3.0-4.0 quakes. The fact that there was not a 4.0-5.0 in Cali. since Feb. 28, is also a surprise with the power of the moon.
The moon is currently still "SUPER" and will be wielding its' effects strongly for another 48 hours. There is possibility for another 3.0-4.0 quake in the Greater LA Area. Possible rumbling area could be San Bernardino, all the way down to Palm Springs. There is also some reason to believe that a 4.0-5.0 could take place in Cali. this week. Possible area for this is 100 miles north or south of Tejon Pass, along the San Andreas fault.

One is the Dominican Republic region, including Puerto Rico. A 5.4 earthquake occured between these two last Wednesday and they have been experiencing aftershocks, around 3.0, since then.
The other area is of course California. Constant normal activity is going on. If the "SUPER MOON" hasn't done something yet, we are running out of time. Following the activity around the world and the effect the moon has had, I am really surprised that there was not an additional couple of 3.0-4.0 quakes. The fact that there was not a 4.0-5.0 in Cali. since Feb. 28, is also a surprise with the power of the moon.
The moon is currently still "SUPER" and will be wielding its' effects strongly for another 48 hours. There is possibility for another 3.0-4.0 quake in the Greater LA Area. Possible rumbling area could be San Bernardino, all the way down to Palm Springs. There is also some reason to believe that a 4.0-5.0 could take place in Cali. this week. Possible area for this is 100 miles north or south of Tejon Pass, along the San Andreas fault.

March 22 SUPER MOON AND ASIA EARTHQUAKE UPDATE
At 5:18pm local time, a 6.6 quake rumbled 312km east of Fukushima, Honshu, Japan. At a depth of 26.5km, I believe this is too deep for tsunami development.
This does come at a time though when the "SUPER" moon has been exerting its' power on the Earth. Our magnetic field has been acting somewhat erratically for the last 60 hours. While I do not believe the moon had any effect, on the occurence of the large quakes near Japan last week, it may have instigated several others.
The series of quakes that I outlined in my previous post, near the Philippines, may be an example. Luckily they avoided disaster, as instead of large quake hitting Manila that I was nervous about, a 5.4 rumbled 87km away. This was reported as causing no major damage or injuries in Manila.

LIBYAN CONFLICT UPDATE: MARCH 20, STEALTH BOMBERS
The fourth installment, on the disabling of Libyas' air defense, involves U.S. aircraft. Reports list 3 B-2 stealth bombers, as flying non-stop from Whiteman AFB in Missouri, to a Libyan airfield and dropping 40 bombs onto it. This was reported as an attempt to destroy much of the Libyan Air Force capability. USAF fighter jets, simultaniously searched for mobile air defense units, to destroy.
There is now a big uproar from the Arab League of about 42-62 civilians being killed by coalition attacks, depending on what report you want to believe. As we know, the Libyan government has no credibility, these bodies could easily have been people the government has killed over the last few days. I am confused why a huge fuss is now being made over 42-62 possible deaths at the hand of coalition attacks. This, when we know for a fact hundreds, if not several thousand people, died from the careless attacks on rebels and non-engaged citizens by the Libyan Army over the last week.

World Earthquake Watch: Is Philippines in danger like Japan?
I am concerned with the Quakes that rumbled just off-shore of the Philippines on Sunday afternoon, local time. There was a 5.5, then followed by a 5.9, 26 minutes later. Previously on Saturday, there was a 5.2 also. I am worried, since these have progressed southerly towards the main island, that the capitol of Manila could be hit with a strong earthquake. A 6.2-7.7 could occur in just the next 3 days. I am very nervous about this situation, as I was when I made my concerns known before the earthquake that caused all of the disaster in Japan.
LIBYAN REBELS HOLDING ON --FRANCE, U.S., U.K. SHOW FORCE
After 10 days of families and random individuals not involved with the uprising, being attacked and sometimes killed by the Libyan Army, help is on the way!
Early Saturday morning, the Libyan Army attacked Benghazi and any buildings/homes that they came across. It was so bad, that the rebels scrambled one of the few fighter jets that they possessed. Unfortunately, it flew over the city, and with the same markings as the Libyan Air Force, was reportedly shot down by rebels. Hours later, Mirage F1 fighter planes launched out of France, attacked the Libyan army column and they pulled back. The jet fighters reportedly destroyed 4 tanks, and the rebels were able to capture 2 tanks.
After it was clear Qaddafi was not going to pull back his army from east Libya, 2 U.S. destroyers--2 U.S. submarines--1 U.K. submarine launched over 110 Tomahawk Cruise Missiles at air defense systems along the coast of Libya.

They were reportedly taking out additional targets at the old U.S. air-base on the east outskirts of Tripoli and the Libyan air-base near Misurata. They use Storm Shadow Missiles, that can be fired from up to 200 miles away from their target.

JAPAN NUCLEAR DISASTER:: Current progress, radiation, and air current, March 19-20
As described in yesterdays' post, reactor buildings #5 and #6 have diesel power now. Friday the air currents shifted, instead of blowing out to the Pacific from the nuclear plant, they are blowing inland now. This is another reason why they are dowsing reactor buildings #3 and #4 with water around the clock. The main reason was to cut radiation levels so workers could establish power lines to buildings #1 and #2, which has been done, then run cables to pumps/equipment to try and restart some systems. Friday, radiation levels were the highest yet at the plant, before the helicopters and water cannons started again.
On Sunday, officials have stated that they will need to vent radioactive gases from the #3 containment vessel. This is to help keep the core temperatures down some, helping prevent a meltdown. As stated in previous posts, #3 contains uranium and highly toxic plutonium and is the most difficult reactor to control. They have vented gases several times over the last week, but the winds are now blowing on-shore, instead of off-shore. This will be dangerous for those within the radiated gas plume in Japan.

March 19-20 "EXTREME" Super Moon EARTHQUAKE UPDATE: BUST!
Well my friends, "EXTREME" Super Moon day 2011 has passed, without much hope of disaster. Outside of the Japan rupture zone, we have had a 4.4 quake off the coast of Vancouver Island. I have not seen even minimal activity outside of California. Even Cali. has seen light activity in the last 24 hours. The effect of the moons' magnetic field has been obvious in volcanic-seismic sensitive areas for several days last week and in Ca, producing hundreds of tiny quakes.
What have we learned? The moon has amazing magnetic pull and does affect quakes on Earth. It does not necessarily produce larger destructive quakes, just helps unleash quakes that would have happened anyway in random faults and sensitive volcanic areas around the world.
In California, there has been increased pressure between the Pacific and North American plates. With the huge increase of quakes <2.5, we can see how amazingly the area under Ca and Nv is able to disperse almost all of this energy.
Currently there is a strong pull coming from the moon. Right now, from 10-11am and 10-11pm in U.S. Pacific Time, is when the moon is giving the best chance of an earthquake in North America. It is being more erratic during this time.
With all this being said, it is still possible to have a moderate quake for the next 4 days. With no increased activity today in western Washington (Mt. St. Helens area), the Northern Rockies (Yellowstone area), central Arkansas (New Madrid area), and in southern California (San Diego region), I am going to downgrade these areas from possible to not likely. I also see it unlikely now that the LA area will have the two 3.0-4.0 quakes that were previously possible. One happened near the Mexican border and one in Arizona.
What I would look for now is a 4.0-4.5 quake in California, right on the San Andreas fault in the near future. More likely during the next 7 days, but it could take up to 38 days. Remember this whole post is just what to look for, with quakes, it is always a gamble.

MARCH 19 "EXTREME'" Super Moon and its' EARTHQUAKES
The current news on the "EXTREME" Super Moon is ....grumbly calm. The effect of the moon on Earth is evident, I see it everywhere! I see it as unlikely though that it will produce the tremendous disaster that many are claiming. In my previous updates I gave my predictions for California (CA) and the rest of the U.S. The evidence of the Super Moons' power can be seen in other areas of the Earth also.
For this weekend possible 4.0-5.5 areas will still be Western Washington, Yellowstone area, Arkansas New Madrid fault area, and I will add in the San Diego region (this is due to the Arizona 3.7 Friday and the constant activity from Palm Springs to the Mexican border). The moon is having the most effect on volcanic-seismic areas. Without the power of the moon, any kind of speculation on these areas would be useless as it would take months or years to get rumbles this size. I do still look for a couple 3.0-4.0 quakes to rattle southern Ca in the next few days. The moon is creating an elevated pressure all along California faults, resulting in an elevated amount of quakes around 3.0, instead of 2.0-2.5 as normal.

Reports are that initially a diesel generator was back on-line at the #6 reactor facility and was cooling the spent fuel pool there. Friday a second diesel generator was brought back on-line at #6 and its' power diverted to the #5 reactor spent fuel pool.
Workers are currently testing out pumps and equipment at the #2 reactor building, since the addition of a new power line to the facilities power grid. After they attempt to operate equipment at #2, they will try the same with #1. I believe radiation levels are too high to do this, unless helicopter water dumps and water tankers, are actively attacking the pools in #3 and #4. These pools in 3 and 4 are also believed to have alot of building rubble in them, thus making it very hard to add water from above.
When they are done working with the pumps on #1 and #2, would they try to achieve the same with #3? I find it strange that if #3 is the most dangerous, as I described in a previous article, why they wouldn't start there. In recent footage I witnessed large tubing blown apart outside of the reactor #3 building. This may be why.

PEOPLE OF LIBYA STILL FIGHTING BACK AGAINST LIBYAN ARMY
The Libyan Army, at last update, was gathering outside of the rebel capitol of Benghazi. There is tremendous unrest as the people of Benghazi wonder if Qaddafi-Kadafi-Gadafi-Gaddafi will move to strike before U.N. forces arrive. It is believed that several countries are currently positioning assets, including the U.K. and France. Action could take place as soon as an emergency summit in Paris, including representatives from all countries that will take part, is concluded Saturday. Fighting in a city approximately 100 miles away from Benghazi still rages, as rebels try to retain control. Libyan officials say they have the 4 missing N.Y. Times reporters, that went missing from this city, and will release them.

JAPAN AND TEPCO: WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOW ABOUT REACTOR #3 AND RADIATION THREAT
Currently, the horrible disaster still unfolding in Japan with the nuclear facility, has much misinformation. On Wednesday I discovered that reactor #3 had different fuel than #1 and #2. The difference is 1 and 2 have standard enriched uranium, 3 has highly enriched uranium + plutonium containing recycled material from previous fuel rods. According to Japenese representative Taro Kono, this fuel should be used in a reactor built with newer technology than the ones in use at the disaster site. The Japanese nuclear power plan did not agree with use of this fuel in the old reactors at the disaster site, but owner Tepco used it anyway. Obviously this poses an increased hazard since this reactor was not built for highly enriched fuel and will be much harder to control if something goes wrong!
Tepco has a history of falsified maintenace records, violations, and corrective action not being taken. They are comparible in negligence to BP and Southwest Airlines for putting human safety at risk in my opinion. I thought it was strange that they would try to dump water in a fuel pool from such a high altitude, I think they are just trying to keep #3 from having a meltdown. Its' fuel is alot more dangerous and has the best chance at melting down. It is probably why, when they talk of a reactor casing being cracked, it is #3.
The radiation levels on site are the highest yet, which means cooling pool #4 probably is getting lower and lower on water. Dr. Michio Kaku stated that the current radiation being released into the atmosphere will pose no health risk outside of Japan. The radiation plumes will circle the Earth for years, but I am happy to hear what Kaku said of the effect. Dr. Kaku also stated that the use of helicopters to dump water and using tanker trucks with water cannons was "like shooting a forest fire with a squirt gun." The only real hope will be to see how many cooling pumps they can get online if the radiation doesn't get too high. The last result would be to dump metric tons of sand, cement, and boric acid over the site and let it sit for thirty years while it destroys the environment for many, many miles. Earthquake update for Friday 18: MOON POWER
Not very much has changed at all since my update 24 hours ago. Two things are evident. Increasing pressure building on the North American plate has remained steady without any surges. This is beneficial as grumbling will continue with mini-quakes and the amount of small quakes is still very low. The areas of grumbling still are CA, St. Helens region, and Northern Rockies. I am putting on hold the 5.0-5.5 prediction for CA as pressure has not ramped up between the plates. It would appear that 2 quakes of 3.0-4.0 could happen north and south of the greater LA area.
The second thing that is evident, the increasing impact that the moons magnetic field is having on Earths electromagnetic field. Tuesday and Wednesday we had higher readings at night, with an average reading during the daytime. In the last 24 hours, these reading which were smooth, have become erratic. The daytime level increased and the night reading stayed about the same as before. They are erratic though which is interesting. I would cite the moon as reason, but the sun had a medium solar storm today for a couple of hours. If we can avoid an extended medium solar storm or high solar storm burst for the next 4 days, the "EXTREME" super moon probably will not be able to give us more than a 5.0-5.5 quake.
Places ripe for the 5.0-5.5 super moon quake are entire western Washington, the areas of CA described yesterday ( activity doesn't support it yet), the center of Arkansas, and the area of Yellowstone. Western WA had a 2.9 near Tacoma, Arkansas a 3.0 north of Little Rock, and Yellowstone a 3.0 just out west. LIBYA WELCOMES U.N. RESOLUTION
For those who gave their life, in pursuit of better lives for the people of Libya, all is not lost. A week late, but right on target, the U.N. Security Council passed a No-Fly-Zone with "all necessary measures" wording added in. This means if there is a human crisis at the hands of Qaddafi, additional measures may be taken by countries involved.
After a day in which it was reported that the Libyan Air Force attacked 3 times the city of Benghazi, a city with over 600,000 people, Qaddafi stated that the army would attack the city tonight. France has said that U.K. and at least one other Arab nation, could take action along with them in the next several hours. The current earthquake outlook for the next 24 hrs. is a difficult one. My last outlook I was monitoring quakes in the magnitude of 2.0 to 4.0, now I am looking at 4.0 to 6.0. We are possibly looking at one in the range of 5.0 to 5.5, happening in certain areas of CA. Active areas with light activity are the east SF Bay area / south of San Jose and from LA to SD. I could see a moderate quake happening in the area between Bakersfield and Santa Barbara.
Combined with the effects described in yesterdays update, the moons constant electromagnetic pressure in volcanic and seismic areas is becoming evident. New Madrid has not increased activity, but along the same fault line, up on the border of Ontario and Quebec they had a 4.3 quake. The Northern Rockies are grumbling abit with the biggest a 3.0 and Mt. St. Helens region is grumbling with the biggest a 3.0. The Domincan Republic was grumbling also with the largest a 4.0, but then followed it up with a 5.4 . All these areas should remain monitored.
Now with just plate pressures that we described yesterday, out off the east coast of Australia there was a 6.3, 5.0-6.0 are normal. Chile had a 5.1 just offshore and there was a 4.8 out between Bermuda and Portugal in the Atlantic, which is strange, but happens once in awhile. The quakes remain constant from 4.0 to 5.0 for Central America and off the west Mexico coast. All of these areas are normal and raise no alarm.
Japan is continuing to have many aftershocks ranging from 5.0 to 6.0 roughly. They may be averaging one an hour. Sometimes they stop for several hours, but then catch up in just a couple of hours.
California and Nevada are an ongoing situation. The activity is picking up now over the last 24 hours, but I believe not heading to moderate quakes. It looks like the area is receiving mounting pressure and dispersing it like normally does. If pressure picks up more, there may be some 3.0 to 4.0 quakes in The Bay Area and between LA/SD. These are small quakes and will only rattle local shelves. With that being said, this increase in pressure could produce a 5.0 to 5.5 . If not between Bakersfield and Santa Barbara, north of The Bay Area in the Eureka direction or down near the SD / Mexican border area. This will all change in 24 hours though :-)

NUCLEAR DISASTER : Current News on Japan radiation affecting air
A new view on Wednesday, from above the nuclear site in Japan shows the reactor building to #4 completely destroyed. This is the source (spent fuel rod pool #4) of the previous fires, and quite possibly current fire, that have been creating a radiation plume. This plume had previously drifted towards Tokyo, but is now blowing out above the Pacific Ocean. With the outer building now completely destroyed, if the spent fuel rods are exposed due to coolant boiling off, the plume will continue to grow without obstruction. Japanese officials stated that an attempt was made to dump coolant from above, but radiation levels were too extreme, which sounds like a fire is still ongoing. There are anywhere from 450-1800 fuel rods is this cooling pool. There is no word on the rods in cooling pools #2, #5, or #6.
Officials have stated they are close to completing a power line into the facility in an attempt to restore power to the pump facilities. These pumps are able to pump water up to the cooling pools, if they become operable.
The reactors are still the biggest threat to life in Japan if the containment vessels are breached. If this happens, this disaster will be worse than Chernobyl. Workers will have to leave, and if there is not electric supplied to working pumps of the two reactors that were not breached, they too would follow the same fate. So if one goes, they all will likely go without power restored. The cooling ponds in the other reactors would also burn, but it would not be comparible to the reactor leakage.

Current Libyan slaughter overshawdowed by Japan disaster
With news of the current multistage nuclear disaster affecting citizens of Japan in the form of snow with radiation, Libyan rebels in the last stronghold outside of their rebel capitol of Benghazi were under attack and destroyed at the hands of the Libyan army. The army took no prisoners and killed anyone, regardless if they were with the rebels or not, that got in the way. Truely something that could have been prevented, France are in talks with Arab countries, to put together life saving air defense, as the Libyan army moves on to Benghazi. Just recently Libyan airplanes bombed the airport at Benghazi to prevent foreign aid. Qaddafi laughed at the aspects of any country coming to the aid of the rebels, which are made up of all classes and education levels. One of the sons of Qaddafi chuckled when asked about a no-fly-zone saying the military operation will be over within 48 hours. There is no doubt that the army will move to slaughter the entire city of Benghazi. Qaddafi said "The rebels should flee to Egypt while they still can".
EARTHQUAKE TRACK AND THE MOON
Hello friends, time to talk about quaking Earth. The was a 6.5 off Indonesia on the morning before the Japanese disaster. I have not heard anything on this.
Last Thursday night, I gave my warning not to be in the South Pacific, Japan, or coastal areas of the Pacific due to a likely earthquake. I was monitoring an uptick in >5.0 quakes around the southeastern ring of fire, a solar storm hitting the earth, and an electromagnetic substorm in the Earth's atmosphere. There are still some >5.0 quakes happening, but an average amount. There currently is no solar storm and no magnetic substorm.
Here is the important part. I was expecting the "EXTREME" Super Moon to create huge substorms in the Earth's magnetic field. When I didn't see this happening, I assumed it was not going to affect us that much or for some reason the moons magnetism was delayed. I began to examine the earthquake data looking for a change in quake areas or an uptick in quakes. I was drawn to one in Africa that was not as normal and one in Wyoming. I believe that these both have volcanic forces behind them, since they are not near big faults. I am not saying that we are going to have a volcanic eruption somewhere, but that these areas are increasing activity slightly. We need to identify volcanic areas in the U.S. , pay attention to them, and find out why they are making rumbles. What I found, is by dropping the <2.5 quakes off the map, there is a trail of quakes that tell the current pressure points in CA and across the western states.
I believe Yellowstone and the New Madrid fault centered in the bootheel of MO are under more stress currently. We may see a few small to moderate quakes in these areas. This means that CA is under more stress recently according to the quake positions in the state ranging from 2.6-3.4. While these quakes sizes are normal and happen all the time in CA, what we are looking at is position and how they relate to one another. Why would there be a pattern and distinct locations? Even force being applied at the major faults in CA where the Earth's plates come together.
Hawaii has had an uptick in volcano rumbles and lava flow during the last week, signaling building plate pressure from to Japan and CA. This itself would not cause out of place quakes in CA, just the normal everyday/weekly ones. There must be something else. I went back to the electromagnetic field readings for North America and realized that, although there is no magnetic substorm or drastic changes, there is not a high increase of energy from the moon, but a more constant amount of electromagnetism at night!
To use a bad example, I identified the solar/magnetic substorm aspects in an active earthquake area, as helping the struggling turtle up the curb or helping a wheel that couldn't quite make it up the curb....to get up on top.
With this new scenario, the moons magnetism is having the effect of pulling on the North American plate when positioned above it, so the Pacific plate can advance slightly harder into it. This gives us further inland, out of place quakes, in vulnerable seismic areas. Of course when the moon moves over the Pacific plate, the quakes will be directly along the fault and of a higher magnitude than normal. NUCLEAR DISASTER: The unknown and misinformation in Japan
What we know about the current events in Japan, depends on what network you prefer. The best thing to do, is to flip around between the 3 and put it together the best that you can, or you can come here. There is now a radiation cloud in the atmosphere. Yesterday it was over Japan, now it is headed out over the Pacific Ocean. It is not from the Hydrogen explosions that destroyed two of the 6 reactor buildings, #1 and #3, but from a cooling pool fire that houses used fuel rods. This pool is in the #4 reactor building. In the 70's, nuclear reactors had these mounted high up in the same building housing the reactor. This was later changed in newer designs. This pool has many rods in it from 2-8 power generation cycles. Each cycle lasts 6 years. It takes 5-10 years for these rods to cool down! They are having a major problem keeping these rods from catching on fire and exploding/melting at thousands of degrees. When they are not submerged in cooling fluid, they react with air and turn molten, releasing radiation into the atmosphere. So much radiation now that workers can not get close enough to fix the problem.
Do the other 5 reactor buildings have this same problem? What about #1 and #3 that blew up? Are the pools damaged or did they have spent fuel rods in them? If so, we have not been given that information, as it would be very bad. We know that #4, #5, #6 have spent fuel rods in them. In a map, #5 & #6, look to be a newer addition and maybe were not completely offline like #1-4.

While dire circumstances, these are not as immediately threatening as the cooling pools. Two workers from one of the blasts on Wednesday have not been found. LIBYA: Why was a known terrorist government not forced out?
It blows my mind that a dictator that we've wanted removed for 30 years is still in power slaughtering citizens. President Bill Clinton, Senator John McCain, Senator John Kerry, and even Liz Cheney have voiced strong opinion for the U.S. to join France & The U.K. in pushing for action. Last week Kadafi-Gadafi-Gaddafi-Qaddafi was on the ropes and was almost looking to flee.
Opposition to action say that a no fly zone equals occupation. Well it probably does now, because the army is not cornered now and the rebels are! I don't understand when the rebels had 2/3 of the country and their own government set up, why we didn't hit the terrorist government with some Cruise Missiles or take out the terrorist air defense systems in the eastern half of Libya with the rebels help.
France would have probably done it themselves if we provided back up...which is already in position. We have spent 800-900 BILLION in the Middle East, mainly brought on by two people, and we can't spend a tiny amount less than 1% of that to push a known terrorist government out? Something does not add up at all. Did no one notice the 3 yr. old that stepped onto the sidewalk and was gunned down by the Libyan army? Did no one see the children with shrapnel sticking out of them caused by army mortar rounds? Pull an amount of troops and equipment out of Afganistan to pay for the help to Libya rebels, BUT DO IT!

PEAK OF "EXTREME" SUPER MOON JUST A PRETTY SIGHT?
Hello readers: Earthquake activity since (the substorm within the Earths magnetic field and variable solar storm) last Thursday/Friday, has been average outside of Japan. A few moderate quakes in Central America and far off the Australian rim have been the most interesting. A 3.0 in remote Wyoming (most likely man made) and a 5.0 out in Africa (most likely volcanic) are the only surprises.
The solar storm readings have been low and earths electromagnetic field has been very consistent since Saturday morning. I was predicting that the extreme super moon would begin to have an impact today for the next week or so, but so far the readings I am monitoring are showing no signs of extra magnetic influence. This could change instantly though, so time will tell. :-)

MORE TERROR AT JAPAN NUCLEAR FACILITY
**** UPDATE-Breaking news, 4TH REACTOR IS ON FIRE AND MORE RADIATION IS BEING RELEASED, EVACUATION ZONE MOVED TO 19 MILES.
Evidentally spent fuel was in a cool down process within the #4 reactor facility, when the earthquake occured. This facility is currently on fire and there is an uncontrolled release of radiation.

Well this is quite a change from basically using Facebook as a Twitter. I believe two months of constant updates has prepared myself for a separate venue. There does seem to be a few issues fighting for the headlines recently. I have been covering and pushing additonal information out on three issues.
1. How unions are being pushed into taking the fall for state budgets.
2. The proposals in congress to cut spending anywhere.
3. The effects of magnetism from the moon.
